The science
Two ingredients. One molecule that sticks.
The patented GermProof® Complex bonds 200 ppm chelated silver to vegan chitosan derived from mushrooms. Silver has been used for centuries and is one of the most widely used ingredients in advanced wound care. Chitosan forms a natural, biodegradable film.
The finished molecule carries a positive charge. Your skin is naturally negatively charged. Opposites attract — so GermProof clings to skin instead of running off it, and forms an invisible, breathable barrier.
Hours, not seconds. That barrier stays after your hands are dry and wears away only as skin naturally sheds. Both the Spray and the Gel carry exactly the same Complex — the only difference is how it goes on.

Not all silver is the same. The difference is whether it sticks.

A suspension of solid silver particles.

How to use each one
Same Complex, two applicators. The Spray covers; the Gel aims. That’s why we bundle them.

1 oz pump bottle · for hands, feet and large areas
1. Two or three pumps into a cupped palm, or mist directly onto the area.
2. Rub it over the fronts and backs of your hands, between the fingers, and around the nails.
3. Let it air-dry, about 30–45 seconds. No towel — the barrier forms as it dries.
4. Reapply after you wash, sweat hard, or every few hours.
Best for: hands before and after errands, bare feet at the gym or pool, tray tables and handles, shopping-cart grips, the steering wheel, a phone and case, backpacks and gym bags.

Squeeze tube · for targeted spots you need to aim at
1. A pea-sized dab on a clean fingertip, or on a cotton swab for small places.
2. Work it over the spot — a little goes a long way.
3. Give it a minute to dry. It goes on clear and stays odor-free.
4. Reapply after washing, or after blowing your nose.
Best for: just inside the nostrils, around the ear canal, cuts and scrapes, hand rips and blisters, razor nicks, cracked knuckles and heels, cuticles, and a swipe across a toothbrush head.

Gentle enough for the whole family
Water-based and non-toxic, with no alcohol, no fragrance, no parabens and no triclosan. It goes on clear, the Gel doesn’t sting at all (the Spray may tingle for a moment), and it has no smell — which is most of the reason a toddler will hold still for it.
The chitosan is vegan, derived from mushrooms rather than shellfish, so there’s no shellfish-allergy question. Keep the Spray by the door for hands and feet and the Gel in the bag for the scrapes. If any gets in an eye, rinse with water.
Can skin breathe under it?
Yes. It forms an invisible breathable barrier — it isn’t a liquid bandage and it isn’t sticky. It wears off gradually as skin sheds. On covered cuts, reapply at least every 24 hours.
